The Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs is the leader responsible for overseeing the clinical placement functions at the College of Nursing (CON). This includes recruitment of clinical partners and responsible for establishing and executing clinical contracts related to student clinical rotations. Oversee and manages the Clinical Affairs Staff. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice Dean and is expected to perform with a high level of responsibility and independence.

The Manager of Research Administration is responsible for managing and coordinating research and grant administration efforts for the CON. The selected candidate will need to have a high degree of proficiencyand professional experience in research and sponsored projects administration either in a sponsoring or recipient organization or the equivalent in a self-funded organization, Pre- and Post-awards Project Management, Grant Managementincluding budgeting, and financial management, in addition to in-depth knowledge of government regulations. Advanced technical leadership in research and literature searches and grant budget preparation as well as other grant preparation and grant writing activities at the direction of the Associate Dean of Research and Scholarship. The individual will assist faculty and research staff in facilitating the development of competitive grant proposals. Responsible for managing department specific outcomes and outreach, assisting with outcome monitoring, reporting and measurement, as well as development and management of all information into required databases. Ensure compliance with University, State and Federal laws, policies, and regulations. The individual will prepare progress and other required reports for the Associate Dean of Research and Scholarship. The successful applicant should have experience being independent, and self-sufficient at working alone with minimal supervision. Ability to independently meet deadlines; experience holding a position in which being a self-starter is essential; strong organizational skills. Oversees the supervision of personnel assigned, which includes work allocation, training, promotion and enforcement of internal procedures and controls.
